Covid-19 Updates

8/7/2020

We are following state and federal guidelines to limit the spread of Covid-19. Staff and clients are required to wear clean, well-fitting face masks at all times. We are taking precautions and factoring in sufficient sanitation times to keep clients & staff safe.

The CDC has approved Barbicide, a hospital grade sanitizing agent salons use every day, as effective against Covid-19. Our stylists are Barbicide & Barbicide Covid-19 certified.

To practice social distancing, lash services will are no longer offered on Fridays & Saturdays, at this time. However, Sunday work days have been added for clients who require weekend appointments!

If you are sick or unwell, we ask that you please reschedule your appointment. Please wear your clean face mask as you enter the building and sanitize hands at reception. Thank you for your support. Together, we can limit the spread of Coronavirus.

FREE Gift with purchase $64 value.

High end salon services generally require specific maintenance to maintain lasting effects. For example, after receiving keratin hair treatments, one must use sulfate- free products to prolong the treatment. When you purchase a Mercedes Benz, you must use premium petroleum. Similarly, Xtreme Lashes should be cleansed or used with approved products and cosmetics.

Xtreme Lashes’ cleanser dissolves body oils and Xtreme Lashes cosmetics without scrubbing or damaging the extensions. Even our natural oils can break down lash bonds over time. More pressingly, our lashes are designed to keep debris, foreign objects, and environmental debris out of the eyes; cleansing the extensions daily alleviates potential infection and premature lash loss. Our lint-free cleansing tools are designed to glide along extensions without tugging or leaving behind residue. The kit also includes a mirror and retractable styling wand to style extensions on the go! Clean, well maintained extensions are the best way to protect your lash investment and alleviate frustration.

Lash Lifts

Lash Lifts are a cost effective method of lash enhancement that last 6-8 weeks. Lash lifts are performed via a gentle perming solution that literally lifts straight lashes upward to a semi-permanent curl. Lash lifts go hand in hand with lash tinting; tinting produces jet black (or colorful) lashes.
Note: For best results, clients
may not wet lashes or come in to contact with steam, for 24 hours after, receiving this treatment. Otherwise, the lift will prematurely fall.

Lash Retention Tips

11/1/2017

Are you arriving to re-lash appointments with retention results like hers? If not, take a moment to review your aftercare instructions. Are your makeup or skincare products interfering? Sometimes, applying products in a different way can make a big difference. Sometimes, certain products should be completely avoided and replaced with products specifically formulated for your extensions. When in doubt, bring your products to your re-lash appointment! That in itself can alleviate a lot of guesswork or frustration.

Here are a few lash maintenance tips we've learned over the years:

1. Allow your adhesive to really cure. Schedule appointments on day-off gym days. Receive facials or spray tans prior to lashes.
2. Gently cleanse your lashes daily with your brand's approved lash cleanser-- and be sure to rinse!
3. Use the wiping method (wash cloth) for facial cleanser removal, as opposed to the splashing method.
4. Consider switching from an oily eye cream to an extensions approved Total Eye Repair Serum. Hyaluronic Acid binds 1,000 times its weight in moisture as opposed to oils which merely condition the skin. Bonus, it works beautifully as a makeup primer and may be used on the entire face!
5. Avoid coconut oil as a facial moisturizer at all costs. Don't listen to Pinterest!
